"The Price of Peace"

"The Price of Peace" by Brian Jay. Today marks 103 years ago since the first ever Armistice Day was held in 1919, commemorating the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice of Compiègne, which concluded hostilities on the Western Front. Ever since 1919, Armistice Day,  Remembrance Day in the U.K, Belgium and France, and Veteran's Day in the U.S., has been held on November 11 every year to remember all victims of the First World War, and all wars since. But for me, a single day of remembrance does not serve justice to the millions of victims. We should remember their sacrifice each and every day, which is what I strive to do by managing this page. With that being said, I wish you all a peaceful Armistice, Remembrance and Veteran's Day. Thank you to everyone who reads, follows, likes and comments on my page, helping me to keep the fading memory of a forgotten war alive.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not wary them...
