According to a report, 12-year-old Catherine Lewis was discovered hanging in her Grandmother's house on Monday afternoon April 18. It was gathered that the deceased was denied access to food from April 17 -18, by her grandmother, Judy Lewis, for allegedly refusing to draw water in the house. The grandmother allegedly let the deceased (Catherine Lewis) go hungry for hours and went for a meeting, but returned and allegedly discovered her granddaughter hanging in the house dead. Eyewitnesses told reporters that the grandmother is the actual cause of the death of the child, due to her continuous refusal to provide food for the child.
